Year 2005 - Laurieton Chess Club 10th anniversary
21 players competed in our 15th 'One Day Chess' on Sunday,
27th. of February. It was a pleasant surprise to all to have Johnny Bolens
from Sydney to take part in this. And all our efforts to force him for even a
draw, or unthinkable loss failed. His masterful tactics were just too much.
