Report by Norm Greenwood 5th July 2004

Updates contain the following : Crosstables for the 4 Divisions of the CJS Purdy Memorial tournaments with the winners decided in Divisions I, II and III and also minor placings in Division III but with minor placings to be determined in Divisions I and II.

I have done the Crosstables in a slightly different form to Jason and have created a bye in Division III under 4 to replace Amiel Rosario.

It is possible that Michael Tracey 3x can draw level with James Liebert 4x in Division IV as they both have 1 game to play against Matthew Sweeney.

In Division II the position of  Vincent Suttor needs to be clarified as his opponents have been recording wins on forfeit against him not knowing he is representing Australia in the Junior Olympiad.

Ben Lee did not turn up last night so his game against Michael Dunn has been recorded as a forfeit.

the players in Division I are arranging amongst themselves to play postponed games at various club locations but this is not applicable to Division II where Vincent Suttor has 2 games O/s and assuming Lee has played Harp which is not recorded.   Division III is complete and Mathew Sweeney will need to play games against James Leibert and Michael Tracey before the final result of  Division IV can be determined. If you have results or queries please contact the Chief Arbiter Jason Lyons on 0412 907 686, or (if unavailable) Norm Greenwood on 9476 4533 or 043 123 4741
