Raymond Song

City of Sydney Champion 2006

"Raymond Song at the age of 12 years 3 months and 29 days is the youngest ever City of Sydney Champion. An excellent effort by Raymond finishing undefeated on 7.5 from 9 conceding only 3 draws. Raymond had a FIDE performance rating of 2475( according to Swiss Perfect). A performance that most International Masters would be happy with."

Two times champ George Xie was second on 6.5 points , Third place was shared by Pat Halpin and Ben Ingram on 6 points
