Time Control: 15 minutes plus 10 seconds per move


Time Limit: 15 minutes each per game plus 10 seconds per move. 

Entry Fee:
If registered on 19 July: 	$35 including all titled players
If registered on 20 July: 	$50 including all titled players

Prizes: 
1st $300 2nd $250 3rd $200 
U2000-1800, U1800-1600, U1600-1400 and U1400
$150 in each division

• The event will be ACF & FIDE rated. All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number.
• All players under 13 years of age must have a parent or guardian on the premises at all times.
• You need to register and pay by 19 July to be eligible for the early entry fee.
• Absolutely no entries will be accepted on the day.
• Players are eligible for one prize only. Rating prizes are based on ACF ratings. Unrated players are not eligible for rating-restricted prizes.
• Forfeit times: Any player who arrives at the chessboard after their time has elapsed shall lose the game unless the arbiter decides otherwise.
• All NSW resident players must be full members for 2024 of (or join) the NSWCA or the NSWJCL.
• By entering the event, players acknowledge that the decision of the organiser (NSWCA) is final.

• All prizes not redeemed within 3 months will be treated as donations to the next Olympiad.

NOTE: All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number.

Australian Citizens & Permanent residents without FIDE id numbers will need to provide DOB prior to the start of the event or their entry will not be accepted.

Foreign players without a FIDE id number will not be accepted. They will need to obtain a FIDE id number from their National Federation and advise that number prior to their entry being accepted.

The NSWCA is happy to announce that it will conduct a National Arbiters Seminar under the approval of the Australian Chess Federation (ACF). The lecturers will be Bill Gletsos and Rob Watson.
 
National Arbiter under the Australian Chess Federation:
ACF has approved a new process for individuals to obtain their National Arbiter title:
   1.  Attend an ACF endorsed National Arbiter seminar
   2.  Must be 16 years of age in order to obtain a National Arbiter title
   3.  Pass an exam set by the lecturer at the end of the seminar (80% pass mark)

• Exemption from entry fees: FIDE titleholders – GM, IM, WGM, WIM.  Entry must be received by the early entry cut off date of 22 August or full entry fees must be paid.
• Players are eligible for one prize only. Rating prizes are based on ACF ratings. Unrated players are not eligible for rating-restricted prizes.
• Forfeit times: Any player who arrives at the chessboard more than 30 minutes after the start of the session shall lose the game unless the arbiter decides otherwise.
• All NSW resident players must be full members of (or join) the NSWCA or the NSWJCL.
