Schedule:	12:15-12:15pm 	Registration
		12:30pm		Round 1

Format:  	11 round Swiss

Time Control: 3 minutes plus 2 seconds per move

Entry Fee:
If registered by 24 November: 		$25 including all titled players
If registered on 25 November: 		$35 including all titled players
If registered on 26 November: 		$50 including all titled players

Prizes:     1st $300 2nd $250 3rd $200 
            U2000-1800, U1800-1600, U1600-1400 and U1400
            $150 in each division

• The event will be ACF & FIDE rated. All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number.
• All players under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian on the premises at all times.
• You need to register and pay by 24 November to be eligible for the early entry fee.
• Entries on the day of the tournament will be included in the round 1 draw at the arbiter’s discretion. Absolutely no entries will be accepted after 12:15pm.
• Players are eligible for one prize only. Rating prizes are based on ACF ratings. Unrated players are not eligible for rating-restricted prizes.
• All NSW resident players must be full members for 2023 of (or join) the NSWCA or the NSWJCL.
• Forfeit times: Any player who arrives at the chessboard after their time has elapsed shall lose the game unless the arbiter decides otherwise.
• By entering the event, players acknowledge that the decision of the organiser (NSWCA) is final.

• All prizes not redeemed within 3 months will be treated as donations to the next Olympiad.

NOTE: All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number.

Australian Citizens & Permanent residents without FIDE id numbers will need to provide DOB prior to the start of the event or their entry will not be accepted.

Foreign players without a FIDE id number will not be accepted. They will need to obtain a FIDE id number from their National Federation and advise that number prior to their entry being accepted.

Time limit: 1 hour with 10 sec Fischer Style increments

Saturday Rounds (2nd December)
10:30am; 1:30pm; 4:30pm
Sunday Rounds (3rd December)
10am; 12:25pm & 2:45pm prizegiving 5:10pm

Entry fees $60 per team, $20 per player
All players must reside in NSW outside County of Cumberland (basically the Sydney metropolitan region).

We will make all efforts to accommodate part teams (less than 3 players) or lone players, so by all means put in an entry even if you do not have a full team.

All entrants need to be a financial member of NSW Chess Association or join on the day. Juniors are welcome
